Hunting season: From August 1 to November 30

Tour duration: 9 days/ 5 full hunting days

The best time: October, November

Hunting area:  Dagestan/ on the border with Azerbaijan

Accommodation:  Tent base camp in the mountains (satellite phone, full board)

Means of moving at the hunt: on foot, carried by horses

Number of hunters in a group: Up to 2 hunters

Ways of hunting: Spotting and stalking

Weather, area: The camp lies 2600-3000m high.  Mountains, hunting at an altitude of 2800 – 3300 m above the sea level. October in Dagestan is a deep autumn season, winter season starts in November (snowfall mixed with rain). Average daily temperature in November is around -4C

Physical condition:  A good physical shape required

Schedule:

1^nd day :  Arrival to Makhachkala, transfer to a mountain by auto (about 5 h), overnight at the guide’s house

2^nd day: 4-5 hours of going uphill with horses, rest time, overnight

3-7^th days: During 5 days – hunting for Tur

8^th-9th day: Way back to Makhachkala

 Price includes: transfer to the hunting area and back, accommodation and food at the camp, hunting guide, pre-processing of the trophy, veterinary certificate, interpreting service.

Price does not include: Airline tickets, insurance, accommodation in the hotels (if necessary), trophy delivery (“dip & pack”, international veterinary certificate, broker service), rifle entry permit (200 EUR), alcoholic beverages.

Transfer schedule: has to be discussed with the guests (can be different and individual)
